Adele FaRannte is the founder of HeroBuds and the creator of Emily’s Hug Mee Drive, inspired by her daughter Emily’s courageous battle with cancer. Drawing on her experience volunteering with the American Cancer Society, Adele is passionate about supporting families facing similar challenges. Outside of her advocacy work, she loves decorating, baking, and planning parties, bringing creativity and warmth to every project she takes on.
Jeremy Brescia is a survivor of childhood cancer whose personal journey drives his lifelong commitment to supporting families facing similar battles. He previously served as President of the American Cancer Society’s Lehigh Valley Board and now continues his advocacy as Vice President of the Cancer Support Community Greater Lehigh Valley Board. Jeremy is passionate about connecting with others, building meaningful networks, and offering support to families navigating the challenges of cancer.
Mikey Miller’s passion for supporting families impacted by cancer comes from deeply personal experiences—his sister’s battle with leukemia during childhood and the loss of his grandfather to pancreatic cancer have shaped his commitment to making a difference. He is an active volunteer with organizations including the ACS, CSC, and other meaningful causes. Mikey enjoys using his marketing skills to share impactful stories, raise awareness, and help others feel supported throughout their journeys.
Eilidh Buntine
Crystal King
With more than 26 years of experience in the healthcare and human resources field, Eilidh Buntine brings deep compassion and expertise to HeroBuds. She joined the organization driven by her passion for helping children, especially informed by her journey as a mother of a child with special needs. Eilidh has a long history of community involvement, including volunteering with the Autism Society of the Lehigh Valley and the Saucon MOMS Club. Her dedication to supporting families and creating inclusive spaces continues to inspire her work with HeroBuds.
Crystal King brings over 21 years of experience in the banking industry and a strong passion for serving her community. As a pediatric cancer survivor, she is deeply committed to supporting families facing pediatric cancer and giving back through volunteer work both inside and outside the workplace. Crystal loves spending her free time camping, tackling home improvement projects, and caring for her plants and dogs. Her resilience, compassion, and dedication make her a proud advocate within the HeroBuds mission.
